How to get Mobile Suica receipts and print your usage history
Receipts for Mobile Suica charges and for commuter passes, Suica Green tickets and discount tickets come from the member menu site (会員メニューサイト) in a web browser, not the app: sign in, pick the Suica, and open . Your train and bus rides are in the SF (e-money) usage history, which you can print but which isn’t a receipt.

Invoice details on the statements
Since October 2023, the statement of use and the refund statement from the member menu site show JR East’s qualified invoice issuer number and the tax rate applied to each purchase, refund amount and refund fee. JR East says the history shown in the app doesn’t meet these rules.
At the station
Some stations in the JR East area have Mobile Suica charge machines or ticket machines that print your usage history (up to 100 entries within 26 weeks). Receipts for charges made in the app, or for Green tickets and similar purchases, can’t be issued at the station; use the member menu site.
Before you file expenses
- A charge receipt shows money moved onto your Suica, not what you spent it on. Whether you claim the charge or the actual fares is a question for your employer’s rules or your tax accountant.
- The usage history shows dates, stations and amounts but no store names or items. Keep the store receipt for shopping.
- Japan’s National Tax Agency says public transport fares under 30,000 yen don’t need an invoice: a ledger entry noting that it falls under this rule (for example ) is enough to claim the consumption tax credit.
- History older than 26 weeks and statements older than a year are gone, so save them every month. A phone change can also change your Suica ID number and hide the earlier history.
- Mobile Suica’s help says history for teppay, JR East’s code payment service in the app, is on the teppay screen. This guide doesn’t cover teppay receipts.
Paidwhere
Keep your Suica statements with the rest
Statements you save as PDFs from your browser are text PDFs, so the free Invoice to CSV converter can turn them into a spreadsheet in your browser. The file never leaves your computer.
Paidwhere, a Mac and Windows app, picks up each PDF you save to a folder you choose, renames it by date, vendor and amount, and files it into year and month folders on your own computer. Auto-charges show up only on your card statement; import the statement and Paidwhere matches each charge to the receipts you have, so the ones without a document stand out.
Questions
- Can I get a Mobile Suica receipt in the app?

- Why isn’t my charge on the receipt page?
- Cash charges, auto-charge and charges from merchant or third-party apps other than Google Wallet don’t appear. Use the store or ticket machine slip for cash, and your card statement for auto-charge. Also check that you picked the right Suica in the tabs.
- How far back can I go?
- Receipts and refund statements go back to the same month a year earlier. The printable SF usage history covers up to 100 entries within 26 weeks.
