The same invoice, three copies, counted once
Duplicate invoices quietly inflate expense totals. Paidwhere catches them even when the files are not byte-for-byte identical, like a PDF from email and a phone photo of the same receipt.
Two kinds of duplicate
- Identical files: a file Paidwhere has already seen is skipped before it is read, so it doesn’t use your pages.
- Same invoice, different file: invoices with the same vendor, invoice number (or date when there is none), currency and total are treated as one payment.
You stay in control
Duplicates go to a Duplicates folder and list, are left out of totals and exports, and can be taken out in one go. Anything you remove waits in Removed and can be restored to its month folder.
Invoices that file themselves
Paidwhere for Mac and Windows reads invoices on your computer and files them into year/month folders with a ledger. Coming soon.
