Invoice or receipt: which one to file
The monthly invoice summarizes what you were charged for the month. Google notes that payments generally don’t appear on invoices, except in certain regions, so the payment receipt is the document that shows the card or bank charge itself.
Many people file both: the invoice for the expense and the receipt for the payment. If your accountant only wants one, ask which.
VAT in the EU
Customers with an EU address are billed by Google Ireland Ltd. Invoices show your payments, Google’s VAT ID and your VAT ID if it is in your billing profile. If your business is in an EU country other than Ireland, VAT isn’t included and you may need to self-assess it at your country’s rate. For other countries, Google points to its page.
Before you cancel
Google recommends downloading your invoices and printing your payment receipts before you delete your organization’s Google account or a paid subscription.
Paidwhere

Paidwhere, a desktop app for Mac and Windows, picks up invoices and receipts you save to Downloads (a paid-plan feature), renames them date_vendor_amount, files them by year and month and adds them to a ledger. Amounts in another currency are converted at the rate for the invoice date.
