Tap Receipt to see the full price breakdown.

Get an Uber Eats receipt

Uber Eats has its own help pages and its menu labels change more often. These are the steps Uber’s Eats help describes.

  1. 1

    Open your past orders

In the Uber Eats app, tap the Account icon at the bottom of the screen and open your orders (Orders, then Past Orders, or Order History, depending on the version). On the web, open the menu at the top left and select Your Orders.

  2. 2

    View and download the receipt

Select the order and tap View receipt. In the app, tap Download PDF; on the web, click Download Receipt.

  3. 3

    Or use the receipt email

Uber Eats also emails a receipt, and the email has a Download PDF link at the bottom left.

If the email doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder and that your email settings allow mail from Uber.

Send work-ride receipts to your work email

  1. 1

    Create a business profile

In the Uber app, open the menu, go to Payment and set up a business profile with your work email and the card you use for work. You can also create one at uber.com/business/profiles.

    uber.com/us/en/business/profiles
  2. 2

Choose travel reports and an expense provider

In the business profile, open Travel Report to turn on weekly or monthly reports, and Expense Provider to link your company’s expense tool so receipts are forwarded automatically.

Uber documents two paths to these settings: PaymentRide ProfilesBusiness Profiles, or AccountWalletyour business profile.

  3. 3

    Switch profiles before you ride

Choose the business profile before the trip starts or during the trip. Business trips are then charged to the work card and the receipt goes to your work email.

Receipt or tax invoice?

In some countries Uber also offers tax invoices for trips. Where they are available, open riders.uber.com/tripsMy tripsthe tripView DetailDownload Invoice, or in the app tap View invoice at the bottom of the Ride details screen and download the PDF.

If you don’t see these options, tax invoices aren’t offered for that trip or country. Whether a receipt is enough for your bookkeeping depends on local rules, so ask your accountant.

Downloading many receipts at once

  • For a personal account, Uber’s rider help pages describe downloading receipts one trip at a time; they don’t describe a bulk download.
  • Every receipt is emailed when the trip ends, so your inbox already holds a full set. Searching for Uber receipt emails is often the fastest way to collect a month.
  • A business profile can email weekly or monthly travel reports, which summarize your business trips.
  • If your employer pays through a company Uber account, receipts and reports for those trips are handled by that account’s admins.

Not getting receipt emails?

  • Check the spam or junk folder and mark Uber emails as not junk.
  • Check the address: AccountSettings, tap your name at the top, select your email to change it and tap Save.
  • Trips booked through a partner app (for example WeChat) still have their receipt in the Uber app.

Paidwhere

Turn a month of Uber emails into one ledger

Paidwhere, a desktop app, collects Uber receipts from your email or from the PDFs you download, renames them date_vendor_amount, files them into year and month folders on your computer and adds each fare to a ledger. Rides abroad are converted to your currency on the receipt date, and each receipt is matched to the line on your card statement.

Already downloaded a batch of PDFs? The free Invoice to CSV converter turns digital PDFs into a spreadsheet in your browser without uploading them.

Questions

Can I get a receipt for a trip from months ago?
Yes. Your Uber account keeps the history of your trips. Open Activity, select the trip and tap Receipt, then Download PDF or Resend email.
Can I change a personal ride to a business ride after it ends?
Uber’s business profile instructions say to switch profiles before the trip starts or during it, and they don’t describe switching afterwards. If a finished trip needs changing, contact Uber support from the help pages.
Why does my card show a different amount than the receipt?
Compare the card line with the final receipt in the app rather than the price shown when you booked. If you rode abroad, the fare is in another currency and your card issuer converts it, so the amounts won’t match exactly.
